DVAC Charlotte holds a Domestic Violence Awareness March on the Thursday following every domestic violence related homicide in North Carolina.
Our goal is to:
- Pay tribute to victims
of domestic violence
- Emphasize the scale of the problem of domestic abuse and its effects on the community
- Galvanize the community in an effort to reduce domestic violence through support of victims and intervention for batterers.
All Marches are held at 12:15 pm on the Square at the intersections of Trade and N. Tryon Streetin Charlotte, NC.
